Dr. Peters’ past involvement in several regional and provincial veterinary associations has kept us in the loop in the veterinary community.  Dr. Peters especially enjoys working with “pocket pets” like rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and ferrets. She mentors hopeful veterinary students who are currently seeking admission to the Veterinary Program at the University of Guelph.  In her spare time she is active in hockey and soccer and enjoys downhill skiing with her husband and two son’s.  She is kept busy as the Head Coordinator of the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program for the Niagara Region.  Bridgette, her Bulldog, is a certified Therapy Dog who loves to visit local nursing homes. Timbit the guinea pig, and Walter the Tortoise accompany her on school visits and local career day talks.
