Karissa is, simply put, a crazy cat lady! She has two senior cats residing with her parents while her and her boyfriend own a home that came with 9 abandoned semi-feral cats. She has experience with exotic animals including lions and tigers and hopes that her Zoology degree and past experience can assist her in her veterinary career. When not working, doing schoolwork, or taking care of her kitties, Karissa enjoys drawing, painting and watching the Pittsburgh Penguins.
