What to Expect

We welcome new patients to our ‘practice family’!  You will receive a warm welcome by our friendly receptionists when you arrive at our clinic.

Clients enjoy our bright reception area where they can watch birds on our feeder out our front window. Water is available as well, for both people and pets. Our goal is to see our clients and patients on time, and although we do have time set aside during the day to tend to emergencies, there may be times when the unexpected can create delays.  We do our best to stay on time as much as possible.

One of our knowledgeable veterinarians will see you, examine your pet, address any concerns you have, and discuss further diagnostic and treatment plans with you as necessary for your furry family member.  When possible we set aside 30 minutes of time for each consultation, so that we are not rushed and can ensure that we address all of your pet’s needs.

Educational handouts are often provided to you, as our client, to help you to understand your pet’s illness, so that you can feel you are a part of the decision-making process in your pet’s care.  We work together with you as a team to come up with a treatment plan for your pet.

Our client care specialists will handle billing, and will schedule your next appointment with us.

We are proud to say that we are ‘an AAHA-accredited hospital’.  This means that we pass the strict certification set out by the American Animal Hospital Association, which confirms that we practice with a high standard of care.  Only about 15% of Canadian veterinary clinics have this special certification, and we are one of only five clinics in the Niagara Region.  Please click on the AAHA tab for more information.

Thank you for checking out our hospital!  We are excited to meet you and your furry family member!! WELCOME!
